The nickname Hubmen comes from the name given to the workers working in Jordan. Jordan was half way along the trading route between Minneapolis & Mankato (both along the river & the rail lines). Jordan was commonly referred to as the "Hub". So the high school ended up using "Hubmen" as the name for the nickname of their school. Thanks to Tim P. for information on Jordan. |

Norwood-Young America high school’s name is Central High School. This school district covers the towns of Norwood Young America, Cologne, and Hamburg , Minnesota. The school has always been known as Central High School. So the logo "CR" stands for Central Raiders. Thanks to Allen T. for this information. *I saw this element on TV. I believe the logo inside the flag is the "CR" logo used by the school. Confirmation of this helmet would helpful. |
