Prior to 2007 Red Wing used a standard wing (*) similar to the Red Wing Pottery wing or the Red Wings Shoe company wing for several years. Confirmation of which logo was used and a time line would be appreciated.

Shakopee used to be nicknamed the Indians until 1992. In 1993 they became the Sabres. Obviously the name changed due to political correctness reasons. Apparently during the 1970's they had a helmet decal with the letters "SI" within a football.
