Ottertail Central is the pairing of Battle Lake (formerly the Battlers) and Henning (formerly the Hornets). Otter Tail Central was orginally nicknamed the "Otters"* until 2004 when they merged with another local area high school. The schools chose "Bulldogs" as a new nickname.
