I was told by a viewer that this helmet * was used for sure in 1986. I'm guessing that it was also used during the late 1980's and early 1990's. A better time line of when this helmet was used would be helpful.

I've seen all of these helmets(1) used in 2000, but also have seen used in the 2005 and 2005 seasons. I need more detail and history of when these two helmets were used.

In 2012 the White Hawks introduced a new helmet with a red stripe and the words "LINE 6" down the stripe. The meaning of Line 6 means "A Team and Family". It is the Line 6 of a poem the coach recite.

We are Westonka
Together United Strong,
Ready to fight our battles,
Striving to be Number 1,
We are Westonka
A Team and Family
(LINE 6)
We live and die together
And Champions we will always be.

Mound High School opened in 1917. They added Westonka to the name in 1971 due the growning and expanding district. They also used to be nicknamed the Mohawks. They changed their name to White Hawks in 1997.
